  • PRODUCTION AREA: Acquaviva delle Fonti, Puglia
  • TYPE OF SOIL: Medium-textured calcareous-clayey soil
  • BREEDING SYSTEM: Spurred cordon
  • VINES PER HECTARE: 4300
  • YIELD PER HECTARE: 70 quintals
  • HARVEST: Mechanical harvesting of the grapes in the second ten days of September
  • VINIFICATION: Alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature
  • REFINEMENT: 5 months in steel tanks and 2 months in bottle
  • ALCOHOL CONTENT: 15% vol.

TASTING NOTES

  • I WAIT: Ruby red color with bright purple reflections
  • PERFUME: Intense hints of cherry, plum and blackberry, intertwined with notes of violet and myrtle
  • TASTE: A full-bodied and fresh palate, with a lovely tannic vein pleasantly integrated into the wine’s structure. A long finish interwoven with hints of plum, wild thyme, wild herbs, and red citrus fruits.
