VARIETY: Blend of red grapes
ORIGIN: Marchesana vineyard Gioia del Colle
CULTIVATION FORMS: vines trained using the spurred cordon system; 4,300 vines per hectare
SOIL: red ferrous soil with underlying limestone rock
PRODUCTION: 90hl/ha.
PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE: Mechanical harvest. Maceration of the skins with the must for six to seven days.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%

TASTING NOTES

Deep ruby red color with purple highlights. Intense aromas of small black fruits (blackberry, black cherry, ripe cherry) with delicate floral (violet) and vegetal (wild mint) notes. Full-bodied, long, and velvety, the palate concludes with a pleasantly long finish.
