PRODUCTION AREA: Marchesana vineyard, Gioia del Colle
VINE TRAINING SYSTEM: Spurred cordon; 4,300 vines per hectare
SOIL: Red iron-rich soil with an underlying limestone layer
YIELD: 90 hl/ha
PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE: Mechanical harvest. Maceration of the skins with the must for six to seven days.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%

TASTING NOTES

Deep ruby red colour with violet reflections. Intense aromas of small black fruits (blackberry, sour cherry, ripe cherry), with delicate floral notes of violet and vegetal hints of wild mint. Full, long and velvety on the palate, with a pleasantly almond-like finish.
